| Welcome to the Orchard Park Chamber
of Commerce. |
Orchard Park, in Buffalo's Southtowns area, is a friendly community
with fine homes, excellent schools, convenient shopping and a rewarding
rural character. Its name applies to two separate municipal entities
with a combined population of over 30,000: the Town of Orchard Park,
approximately 40 square miles in size, and the Village of Orchard
Park at the Town's center. The Four Corners of the Village, with
its charming shops, boutiques and restaurants, has traditionally
been the heart of the community.
Recreational opportunities are plentiful in Orchard Park and residents
enjoy a high appreciation of education and the arts, demonstrated
by an excellent school system, a symphony orchestra, a 60-member
chorale group and the Quaker Arts Pavilion, a handsomely designed
outdoor theater featuring concerts throughout the summer. Dozens
of community organizations, including the Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary
Clubs, provide the opportunity for residents to become involved
in civic activities.
Orchard Park boasts a rich landscape of rolling hills and wooded
areas. The rural setting enjoyed in the earliest years has been
substantially preserved, providing members of the community peaceful
living in an otherwise hurried world.
