Farmers' Market
Every Thursday
From May 13 - October 28
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Fox Run at Orchard Park, One Fox Run Lane (off 20A), will host the Farmers' Market in the Commons parking area from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be local farmers, vendors with everything from fresh/frozen beef, honey, flowering plants, fresh cut flowers, eggs, dried herbs/spices and baked goods to seasonal fruit and produce. Join the festivities and support our local farmers.
HBO's "The Alzheimer's Project - Caregivers"
Thursday, September 16
6 - 7:30 p.m.
Quaker's Landing, 101 Sterling Dr., will present HBO's "The Alzheimer's Project - Caregivers". This dvd highlights the sacrifices and successes of people who experience their loved ones' gradual descent into dementia. Please RSVP to Darlene Polak at 675-1022.
Prelicensing Driving Program
Thursday, September 16
4 - 9 p.m.
Erie Community College, 4041 Southwestern Blvd., will hold a Prelicensing Driving Program at the South Campus, Building 3, Room 3214. The fee is $25 - money order or certified check only. For a reservation form go to www.ecc.edu and click on Workforce Development or call 851-1820 to register. A valid NYS Learner's Permit is required for class.
Quaker Arts Festival
Saturday, September 18, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 19, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Quaker Arts Festival, sponsored by the Orchard Park Jaycees, will be held at the Orchard Park Middle School campus at Route 20A and Lincoln Ave. in Orchard Park.
